Developer

There’s a lot of programming environments I’ve seen. It all started with BASIC, of course… the most ugly and inconvenient one. But for many of us, it’s the first thing we learnt. Well, we’ve been there and done that many times. I’ve learnt BASIC and the machine code of Zilog Z80 and the Motorola 68k family. I’ve tried such beasts as Lisp, Forth, Pascal, Modula and Turbo C developing for ATARI, PC and Macintosh. With emerging of the Web, i started to use languages like PostScript, PHP, JavaScript, Java and lots of other -scripts. But now, I’m stuck with Objective C and Cocoa in OS X/iPhone OS as the most powerful tools these days. I love it. In my free time.

Igraczech the DJ

Spinning since 1999, Igraczech is active central-european drum’n’bass and electronic music freak. All the years Igraczech was smashing dancefloors at Czech Republic and not only Prague clubs Spilka, Piranha, Swamp, XT3, U Sudu, Roxy and last but not least Punto Azul.
You can find Igraczech’s own tracks in MP3 section of his second personal server syxra.cz. There are four private-press albums (Destination: Trashcan, Platform, No.command and Nothingness of Existence), fifth album Ctrl-Art-Escape officially released as Punto Azul: Presence vol. 2 and free net-release at kaktusrecordings.org and 12″ single Witch Instinct on own label KAKTUS Recordings based together with one of leaders of Czech d’n’b scene – DJ Touchwood. The album No.command, was rated 9/10 in Czech club scene magazine Ultram:x.
Together with canadian Adam Stepanek aka DJ Marvel, they founded project called Edgestatika and produced some heavy dancefloor drum’n’bass tracks often played from Final Scratch, but never released.
In the 2007 there are still running residential nights at Prague: Punto Azul drum’n’bass headquarters and monthly at Le Mirage. The repertoire now consists of 66 % d’n’b and the rest is breakbeat, downtempo and self-made tracks played using up to 3 turntables plus mixing CD players or Final Scratch at least once a month as the best favorite for future performances.
Igraczech cooperates closely with DJ Touchwood, DJ Stanzim (Radio 1), Matkore and Nailer promoting Digital Penetration electronica/experimental/break- beat/grime/dubstep/anything night in Cross Club Prague, bringing underground artists from UK labels like Seed, Anticat, Lo, Control Tower, Baselogic or even Warp.
Igraczech is also member of HPNVSN crew specialized on light and visual effects for drum’n’bass and breakbeat parties. Igraczech fully uses his music knowledge through understanding the mix thus being able to work with light scenes much better than usual depending on what’s the dj on the decks playing in this nanosecond. HPNVSN crew lit names like: Adam Freeland, Fauna Flash, Stanton Warriors, Monika Načeva, Rennie Pilgrem, Lee Coombs, LTJ Bukem, DJ Esta, Panacea, Reality, Triple Vision, Aphrodite, Klute, Suv, Alex Reece, Utah Jazz, Surge, Nookie, Ed Rush, Fabio and many others.
